Last night saw the last of the ‘Battle of Britain’ fundraising events in the West Midlands. I will not reveal the exact figures but the amount that was needed to finalise the funding for our region for the European election campaign was easily exceeded.
Well done to everyone who contributed money, time, effort or resources!
This event, amongst other things, is touched upon by our own Deputy Leader and all round good guy Simon Darby (pictured left) on today’s blog entry entitled: Another Target Reached - and something less to worry about. I took the picture with my Samsung mobile ‘phone and normally get good results but to be fair the light in the room was not the best for photographic purposes.
One of the best things about these events for me is the possibility of catching up with people of the quality that you only find at British national Party functions.
To prove the point here is myself with Ken Griffiths, organiser of the Black Country Branch of the BNP. One of many truly excellent people that I have had the pleasure of meeting through the party.
Many thanks to the security team!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the security team. Ever present at BNP do’s and keeping to themselves, ensuring that everything continues uninterrupted by opponents who just may have different ideas to ourselves. I did not get chance last night but if any of you are reading this a big thank you comes from not only myself but all of the Findley clan. Especially little Aimee who liked the big guy who touched her hair. Many thanks.
Incidentally. While I am writing this I am playing Jerusalem over and over. I am using the recording from an earlier post. I am not one for repeating things but as we enjoy singing it so much and this is a particularly good version I will not apologise for including it again right now.
