Live debate anybody?

alan-nick The old policy of the Lib/Lab/Con party of refusing to share a platform with the odious Fascist racist inbred knuckle dragging Nazi filth from the British National Party is wearing a bit thin in the eyes of the British public methinks.  The truth, as the BNP members who visit here already know, is that they are scared to compare our common sense policies with their fantasy policies.  Name calling is the first resort of bullies and the last resort of the desperate.  These people are both bullies and desperate.

In case you are curious the insults above have all been used against me at some point by activists and councillors/candidates of the other parties in the area.  I cannot count the number of times that these accusations, amongst others, have been made on ‘anti-BNP’ smear leaflets from third party organisations which support the Lib/Lab/Con alliance.

Now when I put posts like this up there will always be someone who says to me, “But the Conservatives do not do that locally do they?”  Generally speaking no, the politics are different but they have a respect for local democracy and are at the very least civil.  Many Conservatives have said that they would prefer to have won but democracy is king and I have been treated with the respect due to someone who has won an election.  There is the odd one (like the one I beat in Barpool) who will knock on the door of, unknown to him, BNP families, or my relatives, and tell them that they cannot possibly bring themselves to vote for Nazi’s or really evil people.  Then on election night be as sweet as you like to our elections team, popping over for a chat and agreeing on many points.  We are used to such behaviour and fortunately the public are seeing through it too.

I am delighted that the Chairman of the British National Party and Member of the European Parliament(MEP) Nick Griffin has challenged Home Secretary Alan Johnson to a live televised debate.  I doubt that Nick has saved space in his diary for the event though.  Nobody from the (at the moment) largest parties has the bottle to tackle us head on about the subjects that matter most to the general public.  To do so would be to give us unheard of amounts of publicity and rack up British National Party votes at the next election in droves.

Nice work Nick – but don’t hold your breath mate.
