Councillor training sessions – Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council

Continuing on from a post entitled: - Councillor Training sessions – Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council I am very frustrated at the lack of willingness to attend training sessions by virtually all of the other councillors on Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.

From the latest round of training events everything that I was booked to attend has been cancelled due to lack of interest.  This simply will not do.  One event has been re-arranged because of the kindness of a training provider and the training staff have promised me that they will make every effort to get other councillors to attend.  Their frustration is evident as well as my own but there is nothing that they can do to compel councillors to attend.

Training is elective, not compulsory.

I think that it should be compulsory for councillors to attend at least the training sessions that relate to the committees upon which they serve.  Even elected members who have been in their role for years have no excuse because rules and regulations, council structures and staff change.  It is a good thing for councillors to be as up to date as possible.

I have raised this point in the council house but no-one from the main parties seems to be bothered.  It is apparently quite normal for councillors to not attend anything to do with training.

I am not just reporting this out of frustration.  I do believe that you, the voting public, need to know so that you can make better informed choices at the next election.

Conservative County Councillors now only twelve months behind BNP Borough Councillors

The Conservative majority at Warwickshire County Council are doing rather better than Conservatives from other areas of the country it would seem.

So far they are only twelve months behind the British National Party councillors from Nuneaton and Bedworth borough Council who argued against, but were the only members to vote against and subsequently give away, last years pay rise for councillors on the basis that with the townspeople suffering financially their elected representatives should not be taking a pay rise from their pockets.  This story was covered by the British National Party website in February of this year when the two councillors chose a good cause to benefit from our donation: - Principled BNP Councillors Give “Immoral” Pay Rise to Local Good Cause

The Conservative led County Council turned down an inflation busting fifteen percent pay rise recommended by an outside body.  Using an outside body is a classic excuse for claiming not to be greedy but it is obvious even to them that in the present economic climate fifteen percent would be massively unpopular.

As reported in the Coventry telegraph: - County councillors vote against big pay rises for themselves

WARWICKSHIRE County Council supremos have refused to accept inflation-busting pay rises proposed by an independent body.

Plans to boost the allowances of council leader Alan Farnell (Con, Nuneaton Weddington) and other senior politicians by up to 15 per cent, were rejected at a Shire Hall meeting, in Warwick, on Tuesday .

The decision came a couple of days before shadow chancellor George Osborne demanded Downing Street learn from the thrift of Tory-run local authorities.

Is this evidence that they are taking principled decisions?  I very much doubt it.

I think that this is simply political opportunism when faced with a preposterous suggestion from an outside body.  The problem with suggestions from outside bodies with regards to pay is that it is a ‘take it or leave it’ style decision.  If you change the decision it immediately calls into question the reason behind appointing the task to the outside body in the first place.  I think that if the recommendation had been in the two to three percent range they would have taken it.  Accepting this offer would have been seriously politically unwise.

Extradite the Duchess of York my foot

The chances of any nation being able to extradite the Duchess of York are so slim as to be incalculable.

Duchess of York

The Turkish government is furious and has approached the Home office in London with the paperwork for deporting the Duchess because whilst on a recent visit with her daughter she visited orphanages in Turkey and recorded a television program about the dire state of affairs that she found.

As reported in The Telegraph: - Duchess of York wanted for extradition by Turkish police

The Duchess filmed inside the Saray institution near Ankara, where more than 700 disabled children are housed.

She and the team from ITV1's Tonight programme found children tied to their beds or left in cots all day without being taken out to be fed.

One child, who was not allowed outside, was discovered crawling along the corridor to feel the sun on his face.

Princess Eugenie cried after visiting one centre which houses 60 disabled children - many abandoned by their parents.

Turkish privacy laws prohibit this behaviour and a 2005 amendment means that the prison sentence is fifty percent higher if breaches of their privacy laws are recorded for publication.

As reported in The Sun: - Turks ask Brit cops to quiz Fergie

Turkey's privacy laws have become far stricter in recent years.

And punishments are especially harsh for journalists and film-makers because a 2005 law states jail sentences must be increased by 50 per cent if the offence was committed for the purposes of publication.

A journalist who violates "rights to privacy of communications" - for example by secretly recording a conversation - faces up to four-and-a-half years. Both Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have condemned appalling conditions in Turkish jails.

Another source added: "If, following a police investigation, charges are laid in Turkey, the Duchess could be arrested and extradited to appear in court in Turkey. That is how international law works."

Fergie's daughters Beatrice and Eugenie are fifth and sixth in line to the British throne - and any attempt to extradite her would be unprecedented.

There does not seem to be any doubt that the Duchess did break Turkish law and with the Turkish government claiming that the reason for the recording is to tarnish the image of Turkey and reduce their chances of being accepted into the European Union for anyone else it would be time to worry.

The Duchess has been ill advised in this course of action and either she or the production company should certainly have sought advice with regard to Turkish law before embarking upon this project for television.  Not to have done so shows a lack of respect and contempt towards Turkey.  If the idea was for ‘secret’ filming then a definite lack of judgement was shown in the selection of presenters.

I personally believe that Fergie can sleep peacefully.  Even under this Labour administration there can be no appetite for the blast of publicity that would ensue from the deportation of even an ex member of the royal household and her daughter who when all is said and done remains fifth in line to the throne.

Cameron expels Conservative MEP for winning election, all smoke and mirrors

The writing is on the wall for unity within the higher echelons of the Conservative party after this high level dismissal for winning an election to become vice-president of the European Parliament.  The Conservative MEP Edward McMillan-Scott was under instructions not to stand for the position, even though he has previously held the position of leader of the Conservative group in Brussels, because David Cameron wanted his Polish ally to win the contest.

The story is on the BBC website: - Conservatives expel defiant MEP

The Conservative MEP Edward McMillan-Scott has been expelled from the party.

The MEP was suspended in July after he stood for vice-president of the European Parliament in defiance of party instructions.

He was criticised for challenging a Polish MEP, one of the Tories' new allies in Brussels, for the role.

The Conservatives said they were "disappointed" by the MEP's behaviour but Mr McMillan-Scott, who once led the Tory group in Brussels, is to appeal.

'No scapegoat'

He said he would not be made a "scapegoat" for widespread criticism of the Conservatives' decision to forge a new alliance in Brussels after June's elections.

"I will not be a scapegoat for this," Mr McMillan-Scott said of the decision to expel him, one he said he was not consulted on.

"David Cameron has been exploited by those in the party who want Britain to leave Europe. I want Britain to lead in Europe."

The Conservative leadership said it had written to the MEP outlining the steps he would need to take to have the whip restored, including resigning the post of vice president, and the penalties for not doing so.

"He failed to respond to any of these conditions and therefore his membership of the party has been revoked," a spokesman said.

Is this a ‘pull me push me’ tug of war between euro sceptic and pro-European Conservatives utilising David Cameron as the rope?  I do hope so!

There are traditional Conservatives out there who do not want Great Britain to be submerged into a subservient position within this European superstate.  Positioning is clearly taking place behind the scenes for control of the strings of the Cameron Mannequin as this report demonstrates.

From the Telegraph of 24th January 2009: - William Hague welcomes Eurosceptic Kenneth Clarke's return to the cabinet

William Hague has warmly endorsed the return to the shadow cabinet of Kenneth Clarke in comments which are likely to reassure the Eurosceptic Tory right.

In an interview with The Sunday Telegraph the shadow foreign secretary, seen as the Cabinet's leading Eurosceptic, said pro-Brussels Mr Clarke had made a "very important statement" in claiming he would not oppose the party's future direction on Europe.

Lord Tebbit, the former Conservative chairman, branded his ex-ministerial colleague "lazy" and said his return would be a "nightmare."

However, Mr Hague's words of support are likely to mollify Right-wingers because of the shadow foreign secretary's position as a Eurosceptic.

Euro sceptic ex-minister welcomed back to the shadow cabinet and the Conservative ex-leader of the European Conservatives sacked for winning an election.  This may be a stretch but I see shades of Margaret Thatcher in the thinking.

In the past I believe that Mrs Thatcher was anti-immigration in front of the public prior to an election to curry favour with the voters who were moving to the ‘right’ more and more.  Afterwards of course immigration began to increase and has never stopped since but I am straying.  The British National Party and the UKIP false flag operation are certain to draw quite a number of votes at the next General Election.  This could quite easily be the Conservatives lining themselves up for another smoke and mirrors operation for the benefit of the electorate.

Domestic abuse is not a right, it is illegal, immoral and with any luck will put you in prison!

According to this chap who preaches the teachings of Allah it is fine to beat your wife.  In fact it is positively encouraged if she will not do as she is told.

In other countries this is none of my business but as it happens I am a councillor on Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council representing Barpool ward and the British National Party and I care very much about domestic abuse.  Fortunately for the women of this land Warwickshire Police do as well.

NBBC meets regularly with its partner agencies to ensure that we do everything possible to stamp out this evil practice.

Domestic abuse is not acceptable
no matter who is teaching it!

Before anyone bothers to tell me via the comments section that the vast majority of Muslims are moderate I know this already.

There are many moderate Muslims but there is no such thing as moderate Islam.

The message in this country is simple –
respect women or go to prison!

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council - Meeting of Full Council September 2009

Having read the Nuneaton News articles about the Full Council meeting of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council you could be forgiven for thinking that I had very little to say.

People who know me would be
very surprised to hear that!

The possibility of me listening to items on the agenda such as the ones that were debated on that particular evening and saying nothing is remoter than the possibility of me voting for a different political party at the next election.  In short, totally preposterous!

1)  The first item from the agenda that got me to my feet was a recommendation from cabinet dealing with the ‘Draft Audit Committee Core Work Programme 2009-10 and updated Terms of reference’.

The principle of having an audit committee in the first place is sound enough.  Namely to be a safety valve, a check if you will, against the spending decisions made by cabinet.  Cabinet and in some cases individual portfolio holders make the decision which involve direct/indirect expenditure.  Audit committee makes sure that there is nothing unscrupulous going on.

I was rather surprised to see that a member of the controlling cabinet is on the audit committee!

Now I have no more reason to believe that the gentleman in question would do anything untoward than that any reader of this blog would but the principle should be that you are not on Cabinet and audit.

I spoke on this point and voted against the motion to accept the report.  The motion was of course passed by the Conservative majority who now have the power to put all of the cabinet on audit if they so wish now that the principle has been overturned.

2)  The cabinet report on ‘Untidy Land and Unauthorised Adverts’ was the next item that brought me to my feet.

As I drive around the borough in my capacity as a driving instructor I see many signs and trailers positioned on verges and at the side of the carriageway advertising the goods and services of companies.  They have not sought permission to have them there and often they are dangerously positioned, insecure from the threat of a decent gust of wind and therefore it is quite possible that they could be a threat to the safety of passing road users.  The signage is of no benefit to the residents of the borough.  I also pointed out that the companies who paid for these signs to be made and positioned only did so for one reason.  The reason being that they are commercially viable.  In this case the council should consider charging for permission to use the land in this way and enforcing removal of improperly secured signage regardless.

I supported the motion to allow officers to be allowed enforcement powers and the item was carried.

3)  An item shown on the agenda as ‘Senior Officers Pay and Appeals Panel’ made me shake with anger once I understood the full implications of it.

As the constitution stood before the meeting if an employee of the council was disciplined there was provision within the disciplinary procedures for them to be able to make an appeal to elected representatives of the council.  This was their last available step before applying to an outside body such as the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS).

Contained within the report (and with no explanation of what on earth this issue has to do with senior officers pay or appeals) was a proposal to REMOVE this right for employees below the rank of deputy director.

I spoke at quite some length on this one because I have sat on appeals panels and see no reason at all to remove this step from the disciplinary procedures.  The employees of the council deserve the right to be heard!

I was disgusted both with the manner that this item had been hidden within another and with the matter itself.  The item was of course forced through by the Conservatives who seem to have no regard as to the rights or concerns of lower paid workers.

4)  The item ‘High Hedge Complaints – Charging of Fees’ again inflamed my inbuilt scales of justice.

This borough did not charge to process high hedge complaints.

If you make a complaint about the height of a neighbours hedge the officers come around and make a judgement as to whether or not a complaint is likely to be successful.  If the officers are in agreement with the resident making the complaint then the case continues.

The Conservatives proposed to bring in a charge of £350 for this.

Hang on a moment.  You have a right to light under planning legislation.  So the Conservatives are proposing putting a price upon justice!  The fact that other councils do it for me is no reason that we should.

I pointed out that as a representative of Barpool ward I was aware that should there be a valid high hedge complaint I am certain that there are many people living in the ward who would not be able to proceed because of the £350 charge.  You should not have to pay for justice!

It was pointed out to me that residents in receipt of certain benefits would not have to pay for the charge.  This cuts no ice with me.  Barpool ward is one of the bottom ten percent of ‘super output areas’ in the country for depravation.

I was disgusted by this and voted against it but the Conservatives pushed it through.

5)  At the end of the full council meeting there was an added motion ‘Freedom of Entry to the Borough – Royal Regiment of fusiliers and the Queen’s Gurkha Signals’.

The motion was: -

That, in pursuance of the provision of s.249(5) of the Local Government Act, 1972, the Council does hereby admit the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and the Queens’s Gurkha Signals to be Honorary Freemen of the Borough in recognition and grateful appreciation of the eminent service which these Regiments have rendered to Queen and Country and to the Borough over a period of years; and

that the Chief Executive, in consultation  with the Cabinet Member for Resources and Support, arrange suitable ceremonies to be held on dates to be agreed, at which formal presentations to the Honorary Freemen will be made.

I do not see the council chamber of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council as a suitable place to discuss armed conflict within a week of two members of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers coming home to be buried.  This matter is of course very dear to my heart as it should be to all members of the community but on an occasion such as this I pointed out that this should be a non-political matter.  It is a matter of respecting the members past and present of the Regiments.

It may remain the case that the local press prefers to report the comments of the Labour councillors above all others.

The press may not report me but no-one
will ever stop me speaking out on behalf
of the good people of Barpool ward.

Geert Wilders – A Dutch politician talking sense

Found this on YouTube and thought that you might like to see it.  For those who do not know Geert Wilders is a member of the Dutch parliament.

This video shows Geert talking sense about the future of Europe.

Islam, Sharia Law, Wakey wakey !!!

I invite you to watch the following videos and make your own mind up.  I shall make a few observations afterwards.

Just for your perusal now that you know that you have been listening to a man who is certainly one of the most important Muslims in the United Kingdom I will offer you these links.  Please at least have a look at them to ‘get a flavour’ of the content before reading on: -

Just in case you think that this man is not mirrored by mainstream Muslims he is a spokesman for the mainstream Muslims or else he would not hold the posts that he does within the Sharia Law Courts.

Here is a Muslim MP on the same subject.  Well spoken, polite and wearing a suit but if you are fooled by that close your eyes and listen to what he says.

Now you have heard for yourselves from their own mouths that the aim of Islam is to take over the UK, impose Sharia Law and fly the flag of Islam over downing street.

What are you going to do about it?

There is only one political party who addresses this issue and can be trusted to say no.  That party is the British National Party.

State sponsored violence against Nationalists.

A lady by the name of Morvai Krisztina Jobbik who is a Member of the European Parliament for the Hungarian Jobbik party begins this video for which I must also thank Mike for the link.

Anti-Nationalist violence in Hungary is far worse than it is here in Great Britain at the moment.  The government is doing everything that it can to catch up though as Nick Griffin details later in the video.

For those naive souls who think that this cannot happen and that Nick is exaggerating I have dug out this photograph taken by RWB 2009 (12) mounted police and more communist bannersmyself in August of this year on a public road in Derbyshire.

I was in the people carrier with Debbie and our four children between the ages of five and thirteen.  We were not, do not, have not and will not harass, threaten or intimidate anyone.  Well to be honest the five year old does but that is only when she is tired.

The photograph above clearly shows that to protect us from ‘peaceful Tony Ward protesters’ the police had to draw riot vans around us and escort the UAF/Socialist Worker/Searchlight/Hope not Hate/Union/Labour and Conservative party backed protesters past us hemmed in by mounted police and dog handlers to the rear.

The picture to the left is our mate Tony Ward from Liverpool who had the misfortune to be attacked with a claw hammer by thugs earlier in the year.  Tony is not the first to suffer such misfortune and will certainly not be the last and I do know that he is a little embarrassed by the attention that he receives but his is about the only case that has received any coverage.

To the media you see Tony, Debbie, our children and myself together with all Nationalists do not matter and must be removed from the public stage at all costs.

Effects of Islamification as seen by Americans

I found these two video links on FaceBook and thought that the content deserved a wider audience.  Thanks Mike.

The video below is from an American television channel reporting on the Islamification of Great Britain and the effect upon our nation of not only the Islamist agenda but more importantly the negative effect of the politically correct attitudes of our elected representatives.  I hesitated to call them leaders but thought better of it.  They do not lead us in anything they merely make us live in ways which do not apply to them.

Harriet Harman is coming to get you.

harriet-harperson There will be some lost soul out there in la la land who thinks that this is a nice lady.

Just the photograph scares me silly.

Harriet Harman had a rather ‘nice’ upbringing which I would detail for you but not as well as Gerald Warner of the Telegraph who describes her thus: -

It is easy to understand Harriet Harridan’s chippy resentment of the privileged classes. Born the daughter of a horny-handed physician in London’s Harley Street ghetto, forced to scavenge for an education at St Paul’s Girls’ School (described as a “public school”, with the lowly status of a charity institution) and niece of struggling writer Lady Longford, this gritty proletarian background has instilled in her a natural loathing for the upper classes. It has also fostered the keen spirit of egalitarianism that prompted her to send her son to the London Oratory School, where he could mix with other working-class boys like Euan Blair.

To hate your own kind is surely a crime against mother nature.

Officially the Labour party may have put their class war days behind them but then again officially there is a difference between the Labour government and the Conservative opposition which would replace it and I am damned if I can find it.  Unofficially the possibility of poking a sharp stick with ‘taxation’ written along its length at those who have managed to make a little money for themselves is just far to tempting for those of the Socialist persuasion.

The Daily Mail reports: -

Proposals which would effectively force public bodies to discriminate against Middle Britain will be a top government priority, Harriet Harman will say later today.

Labour's deputy leader will vow to press ahead with plans to make every authority legally bound to close the gap between rich and poor.

Privately-educated Miss Harman  -  the niece of a baroness  -  will say schools, hospitals, town halls, and the police would have a 'socio-economic duty' to boost services in deprived areas.

She will renew her pledge at an event on how to implement the proposals, which have been nicknamed 'socialism in one clause'.

Under the Equality Bill, which brings together nine major laws, policies that currently consider race, age, gender, disability and sexuality are to be extended to include social background.

Now I am confused.  If it does not matter what age, race, gender, disability, sexuality or social background you are from then it is impossible to deny jobs to white men.  socialismUnless of course they are members of the British National Party because we must be discriminated against by all of the apparatus of the state.

I have never understood exactly what it is that Socialists object to when it comes to people that have either had the breaks, inherited a bit or most likely worked their arse off for years to ensure themselves and any family that they may have a decent living.

Yesterday Miss Harman addressed Trades Union leaders.  From a report in the Telegraph: -

Labour is increasingly financially dependent on the unions.

Donations from the trade unions to the Labour Party have soared in the last three years to £30 million, the Daily Telegraph can disclose.

In a keynote speech to the TUC meeting today, Miss Harman will announce plans for a National Equalities Panel to study social inequalities.

She will tell union delegates that social class stands above other personal circumstances in determining how long a person lives and how much they are paid.

Miss Harman's focus on disparities in class and wealth will appeal to traditional left-wing Labour members and trade unionists, and may fuel speculation she will one day run for the party leadership…..

….. Miss Harman is addressing a union movement that is increasingly important to Labour's ability to fund a general election campaign expected in 2010.

Since Mr Brown became Prime Minister donations from private individuals have slumped. In the first six months of the year the unions handed over £5m compared to £1m from only 29 individual donors, three of whom gave £750,000.

An analysis of the Electoral Commission reveals that since the 2005 election the unions have given Labour £29.5 million, up more than 20 per cent on the £24.4m they gave to Tony Blair in the same period.

The unions have also targeted spending for the first time in the key 100 battleground constituencies by 68 per cent to £450,000. In some of the most marginal seats such as Hove, where Labour has a 420 majority, union funding has been huge - £28,000 in the last 18 months. In Derby North, where Labour is defending a 3,757 majority, the local party received £31,710.

In Islington South and Finsbury, where the majority is 484, unions have spent £20,873.

The figures show that unions have stepped up their funding under Gordon Brown believing they now have a better chance of influencing Labour Party policy. Average monthly union donations in key seats were £9,482 under Tony Blair but under Mr Brown it has risen to £15,902 a month.

So there you have it then.  Just in case any readers were in any doubt the Labour party is increasingly financially dependent upon the unions who will now be demanding more control over policy.

Winning back the hearts of working class members who may join, or may already have joined, the British National Party is their core aim.  I have no doubt in my mind that those marginal seats are receiving unprecedented sums this far away from an election because they are scared of what might happen if a few working class areas pop one of our candidates into parliament at the forthcoming general election.

Cultural enrichment alongside Buckingham Palace.

Buckingham_PalaceProbably not quite what they mean by the term but my heart goes out to the visitor from New Zealand who was gang raped by three men lead by one self-confessed 'ringleader' Acar Ismail.  The report is from the Daily Mail: -

A New Zealand backpacker vainly begged for mercy as she was 'violently' gang-raped near Buckingham Palace, a court heard today.

The sobbing 20-year-old, who had been heading home after partying with friends when she was attacked, was threatened with death if she dared reveal what had happened, it was claimed.

As her ordeal unfolded, self-confessed 'ringleader' Acar Ismail, 21, and his two alleged partners-in-crime took turns to subject the distraught woman to a prolonged attack in St James's Park, just yards from the royal residence.

It is quite usual for young people from New Zealand and Australia to come to Europe to work for a while as experience of their home country.  Australia has over the years welcomed immigration from lots of European nations not just ours.  Paris is dangerous now as we all know and with the increasing amount of cultural diversity on display in London these days the number of visitors from this area of the world is declining.

I can hardly blame them!

Blog changes underway

If you have arrived here wondering what is happening please forgive me.

For quite a while now I have found the two column format rather limiting and have wanted to change it to three column.  This I have obviously achieved.

I was not expecting to bugger up intense debate but hey these things do tend to happen when you mess around with software.  Intense debate now works again as normal and no past comments have been lost.

I have not finished yet.  There are small changes still to come.  Nothing as drastic as what has already happened.  Changes will occur on an, ‘as I have the time’, basis and over time the blog will look a lot better for it.

Please bear with me.

Can electoral reform save Labour?

electoral reform

According to a YouGov survey Labour's chances of winning the next general election would be given a significant boost if Gordon Brown ordered a referendum on changing the voting system.

Will the hyper mad power grabbing politicos of the Labour party back Gordon Brown in his wish for electoral reform?  If they can find a formula which enables them to retain marginal seats, ergo lose by less, and simultaneously reduce the likelihood of the first British National Party MP being elected then you can bet your arse that they will.

In an article in the Guardian it reports: -

The YouGov survey shows that almost a third of Liberal Democrats would be more likely to switch to Labour if given a say on voting reform – enough to help the government hold on to a batch of key marginal seats on election day.

In addition, a third of voters who say they are currently "inclined" to vote Labour would be more encouraged to do so if a referendum were to be offered. In all, 17% of the electorate would be more likely to vote Labour if given a say.

As pressure for a national debate grows, the Observer can reveal that Brown is taking personal charge of the debate in government on whether to hold a referendum. The prime minister has written a letter inviting a delegation from the Vote for a Change coalition, which is leading the push for a referendum, to meet ministers to discuss their ideas. He insists that he wants to be "closely involved" in the talks.

So SocioIslamoFascist Gordonium Brownicius decrees that he himself will be closely involved with the talks.  In that case details of the proclamation are only a matter of time.  the only debate that remains is what the back room strategists will advise.

According to an article on the British National Party website titled: BNP Has “Significant National Support” Says BBC which begins: -

The British National Party has “significant support” in Britain at a “national level” and therefore the BBC has no choice but to give party leader Nick Griffin equal time on national television, that broadcaster has announced.

This simple paragraph will have repercussions throughout the establishment.  Lee Jasper has gone, Trevor Phillips and his corrupt commission are on the way, even Boris Johnson’s fraudulent deputy Mayor have gone.  The name calling of the elected representatives of Britain’s only viable Nationalist political party will do nothing to prevent sections of the British public, who up until now have remained beyond our reach, viewing their appearance as a breath of fresh air.  This will not in itself be meteoric, but it is non the less very significant.

The pace of normalisation for
Nationalism is quickening!

Proportional Representation may be the first option to come to your mind but it will be the last one to come to theirs.  The BNP percentage would guarantee more MP’s than any other method.  A complete non-starter.

I foresee a double attack.  I use the military term on purpose because I am under no illusion that little that they do now is about anything other than fighting the next General Election.  The parliamentary Labour party have already accepted that they will lose this one.  They are seeking a feather in their own caps for now and more importantly a stick with which to beat the Tories consistently between elections.  Something that the Labour party will desperately need and they know it!

As a first assault For this General Election there will be some sort of transferable vote mechanism brought in.  Electoral experts can debate the minutia of this into the small hours if they wish but please, not with me, my brain would not cope.

This reform will not go the whole way though.  The completion of the electoral reform will be skilfully left to the Conservative party to complete, it having been made perfectly clear that the initial reforms are a first stage which would of course be completed if the Labour party should win the forthcoming General Election.  Safe in the knowledge that they will not win they can be as sanctimonious as they like and achieve their aims.

The hated postal vote will I fear be pushed as never before in both of these contests.  ‘Zimbabwe’, ‘Banana Republic’, and ‘Judge’ are words that come immediately to mind but time will tell.

Gordon Brown won nothing at G20

gordon brown budget deficit

According to the headline of an article in today’s Guardian: Brown wins G20 battle against caps on bank bonuses.

I hope that he is very grateful to them for writing it because taken at face value it sounds like he has dug his heels in on a major point of principle and won the day.  Nothing could be further from the truth.

The most relevant paragraph of the whole shebang is about half way down and reads as follows: -

Opening the main session of the meeting in London, Gordon Brown, while determined to protect the City of London from unwanted regulation, was eager to show that he would do everything possible to end a culture of lavish and unjustified compensation packages that has angered the public.

If you replace, “determined to protect the City of London from unwanted regulation”, with “refusing to accept the causes of recession”, and change “end a culture of lavish and unjustified compensation packages that has angered the public” to “throw his weight behind a lightweight motion to hide the fact that neither he nor this Labour administration has the balls to tackle the necessary budgetary changes before the next election” you end up with the following which I believe is much more truthful,

Opening the main session of the meeting in London, Gordon Brown, while refusing to accept the causes of recession, was eager to show that he would do everything possible to throw his weight behind a lightweight motion to hide the fact that neither he nor this Labour administration has the balls to tackle the necessary budgetary changes before the next election.

Compare them for yourself.  My application for a job at the Guardian is in the post!

The Methodist Church

Today I walked into a Methodist church with my family.  The purpose?  To drop our daughter off at a guides centenary celebration.

Debbie and I did say on the way in that as we are both members of the British National Party if we started to feel a tingling sensation or steam emanating from our extremities then we would beat a rapid retreat.  This was not to be the case.

The Methodist church, in case the reader has forgotten, is the one that has banned members of the British National Party.  This action mystified me from the very first occasion that I read it.  What on earth could a Christian church be doing banning anyone at all from its congregations?

Before leaving I said a quiet prayer for the leaders of the Methodist church (I never give up) and asked that they be enlightened in the ways of common sense.

After returning home and reading a little reading of the Methodist church website I think my understanding of the situation may be a little clearer.

The Methodist church of Great Britain encourages its members to take an active part in political life as can be seen on its Politics and Elections page.

All Methodists are encouraged to participate in choosing elected leaders. Whilst not endorsing any one particular party or ideology, the Methodist Church sets out what it sees as important social and moral issues and asks Methodist people to take these points into consideration when casting their vote or communicating with politicians.

MPs and Peers who are Methodists or have Methodist connections, are invited to join the Methodist Parliamentary Fellowship, which meets once a month.

So whilst favouring no party or ideology they seek to ban the British National Party and Nationalism.  Very clearly thought out I must say.

Moving on to Christians in Political Parties I found the following: -

All major political parties have Christian supporters. From voters, volunteers and paid-up members to campaigners, councillors, MPs and Peers, people of faith can be found at every level of political life.
There are many active Christians in all three major parties, and the influence of Christian teaching has been important in the lives of many important people in politics today.
Methodist friends

Three Methodist ministers (presbyters) sit in the House of Lords, two on the Labour benches, and one as a crossbencher. Several MPs and other Peers have connections with the Methodist Church. All Methodists in Parliament are invited to join the Methodist Parliamentary Fellowship.

Political Parties Christian Groups
Each of the three main parties has their own Christian grouping:

The Christian Socialist Movement (Labour)
The Conservative Christian Fellowship
The Liberal Democrat Christian Forum

More information can be found on the website of Christians in Politics.

So while not wishing to openly support any single political party or philosophy we now find that the Methodist church openly support the three parties which in turn support the Methodist church.  I find this very convenient.

The Christians in Politics website on its ‘about us’ page declares that: -

Christians in Politics is jointly owned by the Christian Socialist Movement, the Conservative Christian Fellowship and the Liberal Democrat Christian Forum.

In 2001 the recognised Christian groups in the three main political parties came together to set up a joint initiative.

So now my friends I seek to draw a very simple conclusion.  Since 2001 it has been so blindingly obvious to anyone who cares to look that the three largest parties by representation are all essentially the same.  This was so obvious that to hide it any longer was futile so in a bout of honesty they formed this joint venture.

Political people do very little for nothing so I surmise that the reason for this joint venture was to draw support from Christian churches and organisations to the objectives of the main three political parties.  Namely the preservation of themselves and the extended status quo of the political class.

This is obviously working rather well for them and I can only imagine the three leaders delight when one of the smaller churches decided, as part of a bid for greater recognition from those in high political circles perhaps, to ban the British National Party membership from the pews during an election year.

Whenever I read about any organisation or group coming out against the British National Party I always wonder what is in it for them.  I just cannot help it.

We never thought that we were in any real danger of disappearing in a puff of smoke today.

I bear no grudge against any members of the Methodist church who mat be reading this.  I do however extend my sympathies to you.

It must be awful to be led
by such a bunch of numpties.

Roll with the punches and keep fighting the Nationalist fight

Tempting though it is to have a crack at Trevor Phillips who undoubtedly deserves it (and there will be some cracking pictures and character swipes doing the rounds within hours) I am going to restrict this post to practicalities, distasteful as they are.

There are advantages as well as disadvantages to this situation.  I believe that the commission has forgotten, at their own cost, the ‘law of unintended consequences’.  This is unwritten of course as is ‘sods law’ but both seem to prosper quite well.

As a long time member, activist and more recently councillor I have been in no doubt that the country in which I reside is politically occupied territory and as such I see myself as being in a war like conflict with the people who wish to continue/promote such agendas as would denigrate/disadvantage the indigenous populations of these lands.

A positive attitude has been one of my main weapons.  I do not bend in the face of criticism and the theological/philosophical arguments which are before us will not bow me either.

It is obvious to all that the Diaspora politics of the main parties and the quangocracy which hold sway in the land at the moment are going to change the law soon anyway under the auspices of the inappropriately named ‘Equalities’ act which is nothing of the sort.  Enshrining as it does ‘positive discrimination’ within the workplace.

Our team at the top of the party has to be trusted to find the principled changes to our constitution which will ensure that once the doors are thrown open the nationalist pillars of Freedom, Security, Identity and Democracy are not pushed over.  Our core Nationalist principles must be ring fenced.  Membership regulations must be put in force to which there can be no foreseeable legal objection with a view to ensuring that members of any religion that seeks either world domination or supremacy over indigenous populations are automatically deemed inadmissible and the membership form should state this regulation.

Initially I do not expect any new members at all from any other than our traditional membership base.  Many of us know people with ethnicity other than our own who agree with the policies of the British National Party.  This will be a trickle when it comes and not a flood.  The flood will come from members of the Marxist/Socialist organisations seeking to destroy us.  The intelligent ones will read the newly formed membership regulations first, realise that they cannot change the core Nationalistic principles which is their real intent, and not bother.  The others will hand over their membership fee, make their noises, face expulsion and forfeit their membership fee of course.  Good fun and I look forward to it.

There are people of ethnic origin other than our own who consider themselves to be British and actually do love this country.  Repulsive though the changes are to traditional Nationalists it must be recognised that the presence of these people within the party is a forthcoming necessity.  The positive benefits outweigh their presence.

At present membership of the British National Party debars you from certain occupations.  This is only one of the things that weighs very heavily on the conscience of the voting public when the activists amongst us are on the streets promoting the party at election time.  If I go further on this point this post will take me until dinnertime to write.  I simply offer it as one illustration of a benefit.

The time and commitment that I dedicate to the Nationalist movement is not done for personal gain, god knows it costs to be a Nationalist, it is done for future generations.  Nothing can change this.

British Nationalism is strong and we do not need role models.  Look at our distinctive history.  There will be suggestions from some quarters that we look to Europe Nationalists for our answer and maybe some brave soul will mention civic nationalism.  Bless them our lord because they know not what they do.  Our future is in our own hands and our best brains will determine a British solution to overcome this hurdle.  A solution that others can look to for that is our way.  The indigenous British are proud leaders not followers.

I and many others have long shared a feeling that this type of incident would occur at some unspecified point in the future.  This feeling has been ever-present with me for about four years so I am not as mentally unprepared as others may be.  We have highlighted immigration as the ‘elephant in the room’ with glee in regards to discussion on many topics.  At BNP meetings this topic has been our ‘elephant in the room’.  We have known it is coming but preferred not to talk about it.  Changes that would otherwise have evolved over a period of years will now have to be faced within a period of weeks.

Do what needs to be done Nick.
The future is ours!

Dhimmi David Cameron says ‘Asians are role models’ as gang attacks on white increase and heroin is sold cheap to whites to destabilise our society.

British Asians are role models, said Cameron in an article published in the Guardian on 13th May 2007.  I wonder if he still thinks so.

“British Asians provide a model for the rest of the country, David Cameron declares today, as he argues that many Asians cannot be blamed for failing to integrate”.

“Many British Asians see a society that hardly inspires them to integrate. Indeed, they see aspects of modern Britain which are a threat to the values they hold dear. Not for the first time, I found myself thinking that it is mainstream Britain which needs to integrate more with the British Asian way of life, not the other way around”.

David is a Dhimmi in my book because he has been conquered by political correctness on behalf of the religion of Islam which is not as he refers to it ‘the religion of peace’.

Dhimmis: These are conquered peoples living under Muslim rule, generally the Jews and Christians who are called "people of the Book."  They are protected and can have certain rights such as privately worshipping according to their religion.  However, they must pay protection money and are never considered citizens.

Islam: The root words of Islam are silm and salam which mean submission.

So not the religion of peace then!

In the article Anti-gang bid may spread after new attacks in The Herald: -

Glasgow police may take its flagship programme against gang culture to the south side of the city to tackle violence among young Asian men.

The development comes as three white men recover in hospital after an attack by four armed Asian men, who struck as a seemingly innocent snowball fight on the streets of Pollokshields escalated out of control.

Community activists yesterday expressed concern at the violence and antisocial behaviour from some young Asian men in the area. …..

….. The Violence Reduction Unit has pinpointed 55 active gangs in the east end of the city, told that they face the full weight of the law if they do not engage in a more positive lifestyle.

The fight broke out on the street where 15-year-old Kriss Donald was abducted by three Asian men in 2004, before being stabbed 13 times and set on fire. Four Asian gang members were jailed for life for the race-hate murder.

Umar Ansari, of the Youth Counselling Services Agency in Pollokshields, said: "I was not surprised to hear of Sunday's incident but I did not expect it to be against white people. The race element of the story does surprise me.

"I thought it would happen to Asians, by Asians."

He said there was no organised gang structure in Pollokshields but that young Asian people protected territories: "I don't think it was just the case that it was two groups of kids having a laugh and then a car draws up and starts beating up the white kids. I think that it is a flashback to the Kriss Donald situation."

Affys Ahmad, 38, a music teacher, grew up in Pollokshields and said he had witnessed a once peaceful and diverse community deteriorate over the years.

"I have noticed a great increase in antisocial behaviour among Asian youth in Pollokshields over the last 10 years or so and do not see the police doing anything about it. I think that it is clear that the police are afraid of being falsely accused of being racist."

Referring to the Daily Star of 22nd February 2009 ASIAN TERROR GANGS TARGET UK WITH KILLER HEROIN: -

TERROR chiefs plan to flood our streets with heroin in a terrifying plot to wage “chemical jihad” on Britain.

And they have been using hate-filled Muslim gangs as their UK dealers.

Pakistani and Afghan-based al-Qaida and Taliban warlords are sitting on a £6billion stash of deadly heroin.

And they have ordered their dealers to sell it only to non-Muslims.

The ruthless racket is a two-pronged attack which peddles death and misery with heroin while netting massive sums to pay for future terror attacks.

A senior security source told the Daily Star Sunday: “The Afghan poppy fields are probably the biggest financial contributor to al-Qaida and the Taliban.

“The UK’s heroin trade is increasing at an alarming rate and most of the cash helps arm terrorists with bombs and guns.”

Asian gangs are operating in South London, Luton, Preston, Manchester, Leeds, Oldham, Birmingham and Bradford.

Our investigators went on the hunt for heroin in Luton and did a deal in the back of a taxi.

Pulling out a handful of wraps, the driver said: “I’ll sort you a fix for £10 but a gram’s £50. It’s knockout gear.” Asked where the drugs came from he said: “Poppy fields between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

“The big bosses have Taliban and al-Qaida connections and we’re often told only to deal it to non-Muslims. They call it chemical jihad and hope to ruin lives while getting massive payouts at the same time.

“I’m more interested in the money. I knock it out to anyone, whatever their beliefs.

“But there are lots of big-hitters who only sell to non-Muslims – to poison them.”

Would any Conservatives who read this blog like to ‘educate’ me as to why I should view this society as being suitable as role models for my own?

I doubt it but it was worth asking.
