I have to thank the BNP Election Results blog for coming up with this clip from the past.
The press generally take either a no platform approach to the British National Party or they only include us in a negative manner. Some outlets will allow us a little space now and again in a better light but only if there is an overwhelming amount of similar subject content from other sources.
Certainly the press have nothing to say, and certainly show no support for us, when our chosen representatives are banned from appearing at debating societies because of the actions of UAF extremists threatening violence at the venue.
Nothing to say when elected politicians and Prospective Parliamentary Candidates from the other parties are afforded time to speak and answer questions in local colleges and the British National Party candidate is barred.
Furthermore their own closed shop union has a policy of campaigning against the only perfectly democratically constituted political party which espouses the Nationalist cause.
The clip below shows that the journalistic profession is quite willing to get behind the representatives of terrorism as represented by Sinn Fein.
The Labour Party in the form of none other than Tony Benn also stood up for Sinn Fein on the grounds of democracy.
You may call me a cynical bugger but the policy objective of Sinn Fein is to reunite Northern Ireland with Eire. The aim of the Labour Party is to destroy any Nationalistic tendency within the United Kingdom. The aims of the two organisations are therefore not dissimilar.
The British National Party alone has the following as part of its policy for Northern Ireland:
We would end all attempts to force the people of Northern Ireland to accept foreign interference in their affairs and deal with terrorism – from whatever side – once and for all.
I do not know how Simon Darby does his job as National Press Officer. My own limited experience with national journalists has been perfectly pleasant but in his role Simon has to deal with the type of journalists that would leave me wanting to wash after speaking to them.
The footage below shows footage of massed journalists marching to defend the freedom of speech of terrorist mouthpiece organisation Sinn Fein.
