According to the Sussex Express this Saturday the Hastings Unite Against Fascism are gearing up for a regular pitch in the centre of town to hold a stall and pass out information to the public.
A spokesman for the group said: "With the elections coming up, we aim to get the 'Don't vote BNP' message across to as many people as possible and a regular stall will help us achieve this."
The group is also planning to protest outside planned hustings events which include BNP parliamentary hopeful Nick Prince.
The spokesman added: "We do not believe anybody should debate with them."
Members will be in the town centre from 10.30am every Saturday for the foreseeable future.
The old anti democracy no platform policy eh! How out of date is that? Still demonstrating a public commitment to stifling free speech. With their connections this is hardly surprising.
The spectacle of the UAF saying ‘no platform for the BNP’ is almost worth travelling to watch. Whoops I forgot. Between watching some paint dry and the grass growing I have to feed the flying pigs. Ooh.
British National Party PPC Nick Prince should be praying that they do turn up outside the planned event. They do wonders for the British National Party every time they come onto the streets around Nuneaton and Bedworth. The public are tired of it but some of the UAF/Hope not Hate people have not worked it out.
