Israel v Iran tub-thumping

Israel and America versus Iran and Russia?  Will this start world war three?  I doubt it very much.  For a start off Iran poses no immediate threat to Israel though it is true that tension levels heighten now and again and they will never be friends.  America and Russia are old hands at this kind of sabre rattling.  Their stressometer is resting firmly  at business as usual.  Iaraeli cabinet members vote to either follow America into a war or start one themselves.  Strange but no suprise.  Israel is an international primadonna that has seen its stage position marginalised by the Arab Spring.  Israel is now firmly back in the public eye where it feels safest.  If Israel feels safe then the rest of the Middle East can sleep safely.
