It was a pleasure as always to be a part of the Remembrance Sunday Parade. This clip was shot from the top of the town hall steps and there were plenty of people moving around behind me so please forgive a little camera shake.
The young people of the borough always impress me and today is no exception. Once the military people have passed just take a look at the number of young people taking part in organisations locally. I think the prize for youngest marcher taking part, were there such an award, would go to the St Johns Ambulance.
I used to attend and lay a wreath before I got elected so I have been to a few of these and can safely say that the turnout in the park today was the largest I have seen so far. If yours was amongst the sea of faces, thank you for coming.
